Why most "prerequisite lists" you find online are wrong
Almost every list on the internet repeats the same generic five courses. Real programs vary far more than that — and the differences are exactly where applicants lose a cycle. Every figure on this page is counted live from the database the moment you load it.
the anatomy you took years ago is too old for half your list. Expiration windows are set per program,
and they are the single most overlooked rule in PA admissions. The planner works yours out from the
year you plan to start.
Prefer something to print?
The 6-page Prerequisite Cheat Sheet PDF covers the same ground in a
format you can mark up. The planner above is more current — it reads the live database every time you
open it, so use the PDF as a companion rather than a replacement.
Where this data comes from
Every program's prerequisite list was read from that program's own admissions page and
recorded with the source it came from — not copied from a directory or a forum thread. Where a program
does not publish something, this page says so rather than guessing; "not published" is never presented as
"not required". The database behind it is the same one that powers
PA School Finder, and this page reads it live — the counts
and the date stamp above reflect the database as it stands today, not a snapshot from when this page was
written.
Please still confirm before you register for a course. Programs revise
prerequisites every cycle, and a page can change the week after we check it. Use this to build your plan
and to know what questions to ask — then verify on the program's own site.
