What your editor improves

More than proofreading. More useful than generic rewriting.

Your editor looks at the document as a hiring team or admissions reviewer would: What stands out? What is missing? What feels repetitive, vague or difficult to scan?

  • Structure and hierarchy: organize training, rotations, experience and credentials in the right order.
  • Clinical specificity: replace general claims with scope, patient populations, procedures, team context and outcomes.
  • Positioning: clarify the value you bring as a new graduate, specialty PA, experienced clinician or career-changing applicant.
  • Language: strengthen verbs, remove repetition and make every section concise and credible.
  • Formatting: rebuild dense or outdated layouts in the approved, print-ready PA Life format.
  • Consistency: align the résumé and cover letter so they tell one coherent professional story.

Before you purchase

Clear answers, no surprises.

Is this service only for PAs?

No. The PA Life specializes in physician assistant careers, but our professional editing service also supports physicians, nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals—including MDs, DOs and NPs.

Will you write the entire résumé for me?

We edit and substantially improve the document you provide. We may reorganize sections, rewrite weak language and ask for missing evidence, but the facts and experiences must remain genuinely yours.

What does the revision process include?

Your editor works collaboratively with you on the document included in your package, incorporating your feedback and clarifying questions as the final version takes shape.

Does the service include the Application Studio?

No. Professional editing and Studio Premium are separate products. Your editing package includes personalized human review; the Studio is a guided browser-based builder.

What happens after I purchase?

Your receipt and follow-up instructions explain how to send your documents and background information to the editing team.

You already did the work. Let us help it read that way.

Choose the editing package that fits your application and work directly with a professional who understands the PA path.
