Pfizer for Professionals: As much as I hate to give my email address over to the pharmaceutical companies this one is worth it.

When you create a free professional account you get free access to several amazing resources and even an iPhone app that allows you to access these resources on the go. And yes, it really is free!

Update September 2016: Pfizer has temporarily ended their agreement with 5 Minute Clinical Consult (very sad). Although you can still gain free access to Epocrates® Online Premium*.

The 5 Minute Clinical Consult is quite extensive, but not the complete version and the Epocrates RX Online Premium lacks the ability to search diseases. Shame on you Pfizer for making us listen to all your drug reps and you can't even spring for the full version. But, what should we expect?

I am guessing that this is no longer available. I’m not sure how old this article is but I would really love to know how to get free access to Merck Manual or 5 min Clinical Consult.

I have gone ahead and updated this post to reflect the changes. Thanks for the heads up. If you do find the Merck Manual or 5 Minute Clinical Consult let me know.
