When Nancy Lublin started texting teenagers to help with her social advocacy organization, what she found was shocking -- they started texting back about their own problems, from bullying to depression to abuse.

So she's setting up a text-only crisis line, and the results might be even more important than she expected.

I work with troubled teens on a daily basis. They remind me of the wonderful childhood I was so lucky to have and also just how much horror so many young people are exposed too.

There are few outlets where teens can feel safe. This seems like an ideal outlet.

I just donated to the cause, and I suggest you take a moment to consider whether this may be a worthwhile venture.
